Day Six of Hearts Heart Chickies!!

Today's hearts are adorable little chickies!!  I saw these several years ago on (probably) Pinterest and had always wanted to make them.  I made them out of red/white ticking with red felt beaks and combs.

Aren't they cute?

Always can use a red/white garland for Valentines.

And remember my cuckoo clock I painted red?  It fits right in for the month of February.

Enjoy!

A Vintage Heart and A BIG Boat!

Isn't this a beautiful vintage heart?  I got this at the Flea Market.  It is a heavy cardboard base with the fabric on top.  The fabric is really aged.  Then there are the beautiful vintage velvet pansies and leaves. The ribbon is quite gorgeous also. There is a card that reads:

"Loving Greeting,"

"Pansies grow for thoughts:
Here are some for you.
With thoughts of affection,
Loving, tender, true."

I really love the old fashion look of this valentine.

Yesterday, on my outing to Pryor, I was pulled over because there was a "motorcade" of sorts and they were asking people to pull off on the side of the road so it could pass.

This huge boat (or rather should I call it a yacht?) was coming down the highway with quite an entourage.  Several vehicles ahead and behind and having to stop at every overhead.

Now, that's some big boat!!  Look at the size compared to the semi cab!!

Enjoy!
