Some of My Treasures From Branson Trip
You know that wherever I go, I can find vintage items, don't you? John says I can sniff them out. LOL On our little mini vacation last week to Branson, MO, I found a cute little consignment shop with booths and found quite a few goodies.
I found these two enameled pot lids that can be used for kitchen towel holders like Brenda did in Cozy Little House. These will go on my Etsy shop after my Christmas week.
The cute little spice rack will go in the kitchen someday!
I found three very different egg cups, a doggie figurine, tin molds, s&p shakers in cobalt blue and a stack of little oval plates.
I love this tiny sewing piece. It has a drawer for thread and one for needles. And a pincushion attached at the top.
Isn't this crocheted lace gorgeous? I'm planning on using it on shelving on a vintage piece I'm restoring for the kitchen. Seven and one half yards! WOW!
A pretty plate, a little birdhouse and a cute wooden angel.
Some unique ceramic pieces including a small piece to hang on the wall in the kitchen (leaning up against the s&p shakers) to put your rings in. My Nana had one of these so this is a special piece to me.
The beautiful salt and pepper shaker on the little tray are cut crystal and you cannot believe how heavy they are.
This dainty little floral teapot will be made into a fountain at some point and time. Isn't it sweet?
My bargain of the day. This cute little table for $1.00!! The top is veneer and is all wavy, but I am going to tear it off and adhere a whole new round table top. I loved that it had the little metal feet still on it. A $1.00!!!!
And you can see across the back the pretty linens I found. A table set with cherries embroidered and two beautiful vintage tablecloths. Also, there is a stack of hankerchiefs that you can hardly see. I just can't resist those.
So, enjoy!

MOJO Monday 259
Hi my friends...
Its late at night, and due to paper crafting withdrawal, I've decided to do a quick Mojo Monday Card... something pretty simple... its all I can manage at this time of night!!! If I get the urge... and the time, I would like to do a 'Man' Card using this sketch... we shall see how we go...
This weeks sketch was just screaming out for another 'Betsy's Blossom' fix... so... out it came to play again. Simply love, love love this set!!! The colours were Baja Breeze & my favourite, Rich Razzleberry...
So... this weeks Mojo Monday sketch was... drum roll....
Well, would love to stay and chat... work tomorrow and I need my beauty sleep!!!
Till next time,
Love Deb x

Tyddyn Uchaf
Liz wrote:
"Hi Melissa, I live in Worcestershire, U.K thought I would send you pics of my shed, bought second hand 25 years ago, then used as a tack and rubbish store till last year when I tore it down all by myself, swung the base round, repositioned it so it faced the sun and rebuilt all the bits and put a corrugated roof on. I call it Tyddyn Uchaf, which is Welsh for upper small holding, its name plaque taken from the now tumble down ruin where I lived 40 years ago on the Isle of Anglesey, now I use it to sit and spin in."
If you look closely, you can see that Liz literally means 'sit and spin' as there is a spinning wheel inside:
Happy spinning, Liz. Your shed is lovely.

Vote for Brendas Lamp Shade
My friend Brenda, of www.cozylittlehouse.com was chosen to create a lampshade from a plain, white drum shade. She chose to decorate it in all vintage items - doilies, lace, yoyos, buttons, old gloves, etc. She is in a contest and you can go over to her blog and see all of the beautiful photos of her lampshade and she has a link to go to and vote.
Brenda is always so good about helping out so many bloggers so, let's support her and vote for her lampshade.
Thanks!

The Furries
Hi De Ho Fellow Craft Addicts..
Well.... I haven't gone into hiding... just been busy painting, card making and mask making.... nothing finished yet to blog so I thought I would just say hi... 'Hi!' and share a picture of the 'Furries'...
Kiara is my demanding diva of a kitty... and Maximus Decimus Meridius... Max for short... (you can tell I come from a household of boys... boy type movie names...mmmm.....) is the schnauzer...
As you can see... they are extremely energetic... NOT!!!
Anyway had better go and finish some crafty bits so I can blog them for you all...
Keep on crafting...

By the Seaside
Hi fellow craft addicts...
Finally I finished this 'Seaside' card... the little paper shells have been sitting on my desk, unfinished for a couple of weeks... I don't know about you, but occasionally I will just randomly stamp something with no real direction... it may sit there for a few days... weeks... just waiting for that bit of inspiration to finish it... well, today was the day. The little shells finally found a home.
Well, time for a cuppa and curl up with a book... or should I say 'kindle'... gotta luv the kindle!!!
till next time,
Luv Deb x
Patriotic Decor 20 North Ora
I decorated a few weeks ago but hadn't taken photos yet. I made this wreath out of vintage children patriotic cards I bought from Etsy.
Some of them are just glued on flat and others I cut out the figurines and used foam core cut into small pieces to make them stand out.
The window beside my front door has the wreath and my burlap patriotic garland on it. It is so hard to get a good photo of this window because of reflections! So, use your imagination!
I used red and blue patriotic pillows on my little bench. Then, I added an old basket full of geraniums and American flags.
Remember the flag shutter I made a few weeks ago? Well, it is on the front porch also. I really wanted it down above the bench, but hubby didn't want me hammering nails into the brick. So, it sits up on the ledge above the bench.
I am fortunate that all of my porch is covered so I can leave a lot of things out there without worrying about the weather.
These will be here for June and July!
Enjoy!

Day Six of Hearts Heart Chickies!!
Today's hearts are adorable little chickies!! I saw these several years ago on (probably) Pinterest and had always wanted to make them. I made them out of red/white ticking with red felt beaks and combs.
Aren't they cute?
Always can use a red/white garland for Valentines.
And remember my cuckoo clock I painted red? It fits right in for the month of February.
Enjoy!

I HAVE TOMATOES!!!!!!!
OMG!! If you read my post about my episode of growing tomatoes, then you will understand how significant these two tiny little tomatoes are to me!
And no, I did not hot glue them on!!
This morning when I went out to water and check my flowers and plants, lo and behold - there were two tiny little tomatoes. I was so elated!
I knew my two plants were growing like crazy and I had lots of little flowers but, I was still thrilled!!
A couple of my great finds estate shopping on Saturday included these two beautiful Pier I indoor/outdoor chairs for $60.00/set and
this cute little cabinet with shelves and doors and
beadboard on the sides and cute little feet. Can't wait to show you what I am going to do with it.
More Saturday Treasures in a day or so.
The rest of the photos are just beautiful plants and flowers. Some, I know what they are and some, I just buy because I like their looks.
Phlox is still pretty but beginning to turn into green foilage.
Hydrangea is loaded this year.
Have great and blessed Sunday!
Judy
