Origami Dress
Whilst my ham & cheese croissants are melting away nicely in the oven, I thought I would quickly share my little origami dresses with you... I saw heaps of different versions on you tube... here is a link to this particular one...

I made mine with 3" x 4" paper... this size made them a bit slimmer looking... looked a bit more 'grown up'.. you could change them to suit your needs... I guarantee... you will be hooked!!! I decided to stick to the same layout but different papers to show how just changing colours make so much difference... mmm... it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact it was late and I didn't feel like thinking... but we won't mention that...
Well have to go and make my wonderful sister a card for her birthday... I have to make it extra special... just like her... Love you Rob xxxx

Happy Mothers Day!
Hi Fellow Crafties... & most importantly 'Happy Mothers Day Mum'...
I just wanted to make mum an extra special Mothers Day Card... so hence, the exploding box came to the rescue. I used the Stampin' Up! Summer Solstice Stamp Set.... so perfect for the job!!!
I will let the box speak for its self... heaps of fun to make.
Its funny... now I have done a couple of these boxes... I find myself looking at my stamps in a different light... how will that look like suspended... oh yer.. not to mentions I simply refuse to throw out any piece of acetate, plastic, etc that I think I can use. Nothing like recycling...
Dad... if you are reading this before I give this box to mum... please don't show her this post till after... thanks!

Hi Fellow Crafties...
For those of you who do not know I have a 'Sister' blog... Wild Wicks Candles... sharing my love of Soy Candles & yummy fragrances... all freshly hand poured upon order!
I have designed new labels added new fragrances and coming soon... soy candle making supplies. I have been very frustrated not having any place in Adelaide to purchase candle making supplies, so decided to take on the challenge to be the one to supply to fellow candle lovers... for now it won't be a fancy shop... but sold from home by appointment.. more than likely 7 days a week... gotta love that!!!
The latest fragrance I've been testing is 'Monkey Farts'... this is YUMMMM!

True Loves Puzzle
This 'True Love' Puzzle card was made using the coolest punch... we just got it in at work... (if you want one, visit your nearest Riot Art & Craft store...) its a My Memories Jigsaw Puzzle Punch. There are sooo many things I want to make using this punch... this being the first of many...
I wanted to do a bit of a grungy feel to it and after rifling through my many drawers of paper, I found the perfect printed words paper... to that I added a bit of inking on the edges, ribbon & a punched heart finished off the look...
this is a definately a case of 'stay tuned for more'... had heaps of fun playing with this 'New Toy'...
Well, time for curling up in front of the box for me... not feeling 100% ...(not good as I have so many new toys to play with!!!) ... but at this stage, that is all this little craft addicted body can cope with...

I Know What Im Planting Next Year!!
Remember last Spring when I so painstakingly made this delicate little vintage saucer flower bed?
I carefully placed the saucers in a circle making sure the colors all blended with the next one.
WELL!!
So much for all of that work. The Sweet Potato Vine totally grew out over the little border and took over the back yard.
It's not all bad tho. When it dies out, I'll take out the china pieces and from now on out, all I'll probably plant is this. It grows like crazy!

How Thankful I Am!
First, let me say thank you for all of the sweet comments and all of the prayers and thoughts going up for John and I. He continues to amaze me and we are having some very precious time together.
So far, the last two days have been spent with the dear Hospice people. Monday, sweet Bev was here to go over the process with us and within a few hours, oxygen, breathing machines, some of his meds, etc. were already here at the house. They are a very fine tuned and well run organization,
Today, his nurse - Carrie - came and she was just as sweet as Bev was. They are such caring and personal people.
She will come twice a week unless we need her more.
His team is comprised of a nurse, an aide, a pastor and a doctor. The doctor is our family doctor.
I just want to again thank you all for your love and support. I am so grateful to God that you all have been there with me thru this and it has all been so positive.
I am trying to sew a little along, but it's been kinda crazy moving furniture, etc. around for all of the necessities. But, sewing is really calming for me.
Thank you again and enjoy this lovely Fall!
